You asked about my bees getting more room. It is actually the process of getting them ready for winter. They need at least 2 brood boxes (those of the bigger boxes on the bottom of hives) full of honey, pollen, and brood (brood is all the different stages of larvae as bees only live about 3 weeks) filled in order for them to survive the winter as they are not able to collect at that time but still need to keep the hive going. It really is fascinating learning about these tiny creatures!
