Okay, so I am not focused tonight. I wanted to bead and then found a box or two that I wanted to cover. I went down to the garage to spray paint the boxes and remembered that I had an OLD song book. While the paint was drying I scanned four or five of my favorite songs. Well, while I was scanning those I thought I wanted to scan the front cover too. Goodness, I must learn to focus, focus, focus...(I have had that problem since grade school and after all these years I think I will never out grow this.)
Please note that the song book is dog eared and stained. It is well used. Can't you just see our forefathers and mothers singing from the old hymnal? It was published in 1939 and cost only 50 cents. (I was very disappointed that it did not have "Just a Closer Walk with Thee") For those who might want some old time gospel, enjoy each piece and please let me know if you have made something with them. It is always so fun and so stimulating to see other artists work.

I must get back to the bead table and finish up on the boxes before I can see the bead tray underneath.
Thank you for stopping by and please leave a comment if you find the time. (Your comments leave me with a feeling of being hugged.)

Wow! Now did you try singing those songs?
This afternoon a friend of mine shared that while she was taking care of her mother in law (who has just passed away )she found many treasures. This lady had 1100sq feet of attic full of "JUNK". But every time my organized, minimalist friend felt like throwing the towel, she found an amazing antique piece. Some of them were three generation old Russian jewelry pieces!
Some she knew were precious, some the old lady left for her to do some home work. It was an interesting story to hear and then read your blog! Stay well Sharon. Dita
P.S. It is a treat to see your beautiful jewelry that you are creating.

Sharon,
It sounds like you have a case of Artists Attention Deficit Disorder (otherwise known as AADD). There is only one to treat such a disorder and that is to create as much as you can as often as you can:). I hope you post the pictures of your creations-I'm sure they will be beautiful!
Blessings,
Kim
