Help Received!!! Also a "Sneek Peak" at my followers giveaway!

I have been looking everywhere for this!
Does ANYONE remember
where I can find the program that makes
my pictures into stamps and film strips?
These were free and great for projects.
I saw it on a post somewhere and for the life of me, I can not remember who posted about this wonderful link.
I made these on August 11, 2009!
I have lost the post where they gave me
the link to make these lovely stamps.
Please HELP me out.
This is exactly how I feel when I can't find something I have lost and
I am wanting so much!!!
If you could help me with this information,
I would be so grateful!!
I found it!!!

Because it is the first time we are getting together I thought we would start casual, very casual, blue jeans and comfy shoes.  Then we could work our way up to the elegant

It seemed everyone was favoring a

We will be meeting at
The owner, Karen, is so excited to have us come to her
quaint little restaurant on
the main street of Hoschton, GA.
(Karen has a great meeting area plus a roomy patio for us to spread out and possibly make a craft together....
hint hint, Dawn.....any ideas??)
(You can go on line to visit this lovely gem but be forewarned to: "make sure you have the exact wording of the website!!!...or you will go places you do not want to be."
Karen said.)

There will be more plans later.
We wanted to be sure you put this information on your calendars.
Will  you pass the word?
There are loads of antique stores to shop in
and the food at Peckers is simply delicious.
Please take the time to shop a little visually at the
pics taken on my recent visit.
These are only two of the
seven or so shops in the immediate area.
Plus they are all having sales.
Can't beat a sale,
lunch and
new friends!
Try to join us!

OWOH Gifts

First, right off the top I want to tell you that I joined Lisa's One World One Heart party ONLY for the new blogs that I would be able to meet.  I wrote a note to alot of the participants just to be kind.  I honestly never thought I would be able to win anything.  I loved some of the giveaways and would love to have had my name drawn but my honest thought was to support all of the wonderful blogs.
Well, I was shocked, surprised and pleased to receive notice that my name had been drawn by the number generators from around the world not once but several times.
In all humility I want to give credit where credit is due therefore I want to post some of the gifts that have arrived to show you what sweet ladies there are in this wonderful world of BLOG!
I want
 to stop once again and thank
Lisa for OWOH.

I have received wondeful items  from other blogs that had also signed up to go on
The Magic Carpet Ride.
None of  the gifts  are any more appreciated than another.
What does one say when they receive gifts?
Thank You!
That seems so inadequate, so insignificant.
I think we should somehow, in our language
and in our world, be able to express appreciation better than a simple
Thank You!
But for lack of a better vocabulary, all I can truly say is
A Heart Felt,Thank You!
The very first gift arrived from Jill of Bailiwick Designs
When this lovely package came, all tied up in a gorgeous pink ribbon my husband just could not get over how pretty it looked.  His statement: "It is too pretty to open!"  That was my sentiment also.  I did, however open the box to find heart candies, heart cookie cutters, a bright red carved stone heart, to lovely smelling pinky ball, a handmade stuffed heart, word cards of love in French, and last but not the least another tin heart filled with hearts.  Now how sweet is that???
Thank you, Jill so much!
My hubby actually remembered that it was Valentines Day and got me a dozen yellow  roses!
  (First time ever!!)

Penny
of Penny Duncan Creations
Penny sent me this gorgeous journal.
It is so detailed that it is hard to see how delightful it really is.
The rose is made of a Swiss dotted paper that is beautiful. Then it is tied up with a dark green and gold ribbon.  I wish you could see the elegance of this piece of artwork.
Everything she does is so classy!!
Penny, I am so glad I found your blog through
OWOH Magic Carpet Ride.

sent this uniquely stunning piece of art work that can be worn as a necklace or hung in a frame to admire.  It is a paper sculpture that has the most interesting waves of fiber,  jewels, and  colors.
As I predicted, Amy, my daughter was here when I opened the beautiful gift and immediately put it on.
( But she lives right next door so I know where to find it anytime I want to wear it!)

Miss Shari of
sent this lovely story/sticker book and darling puppy dog so I can read it to my precious Grandchildren!  (I do not have anything around the house, until now, that is age appropriate
for a seven, six and five year olds.)  The colors and the story are too wonderful!
Thank you so much, Shari!!!

Chelsea of
made this darling hair clip into a lollie pop!
Isn't it darling?  Guess who will wear this cutie?
Chelsea calls it a "Rosie Clip"  but whatever you call it it is SO sweet!
Thank you, sweet Chelsea so much!

(I KNOW this is ridiculous but I MUST show them all and not leave anyone out!
My mail lady is going nuts just hauling in all the packages...lol)

Kate  of
makes the most gorgeous beaded jewelry!
You MUST stop in there!  I am talking about one talented lady here.  She not only made these darling polymer clay ear rings for me but  drew the lady on the ear ring  card too.  Plus made a card to send along with the gift.
Kate, thank you for the earrings and for the detailed beauty they behold.

Louise of
sent the cutest little package.
( I know this post is long but ya' have ta' stop once in a while and enjoy the details. )
Look at that cute Raggedy Ann and Andy and they were sent First Class....lol
Louise made this sweet pillow after cross stitching for hours and hours.   It is so darling!!!
 This is definately a labor of love that will be appreciated every time I see it!
I will put it on my sofa and think of how sweet my life has become since learning about blogging.

I have purposely saved this one for last.
When I got almost 600 people commenting on my giveaway, I decided to add two more bracelets as a giveaway and one of the numbers chosen belonged to
Marcie of
Well when she got the numbers from her drawing MY name was one she drew!  Out of almost 1,011 blogs we each chose each others numbers!  How fun!
Here is what she sent me:

This was the outside of the package!
This was the package!
There  were four handmade ribbon spools filled with ribbon and decorated on both sides with the most darling tiny buttons, lace and flowers.  They were wrapped with a beautiful lace doily.  Thank you, Marcie for this sweet Victorian surprise.

Okay, this is the longest post of all time for me but blame it all on Lisa at:

Thank you again everyone!  I love my gifts and I love that number generator thingy too!

Look who I met today! The Georgia Bloggers Planning Committee

Yvette and I finally met!
(Isn't she just the cutest!!!)
Yvette is from
The Charm House
http://thecharmhouse.blogspot.com/
We had been wanting to get together to plan the
Georgia Bloggers Spring Getaway.
What a delightful time we had!
I wish you all could have been there too.
Sweet Yvette has so many irons in the fire with two spring weddings, her business, her beautiful crafts and church, I am surprised I was able to capture her for a second.
But they always say
"if you want something done ask the
busiest person, they will get the job done".
We met at MiMi's Cafe for lunch (great food).
We talked and talked about blogging,
weddings, blogging, life, blogging,
and our mutual love of the Lord.
We had such a good time.  We kinda' sorta' decided to meet more of the Georgia Bloggers in Braselton, GA
the first Thursday&/or Saturday of April.
(Someone has to start somewhere)
Details will follow once I have gone to Braselton and arranged a place for lunch, maybe a craft, then antiques & shopping.
Yvette suggested:
"We then take from the
April group ideas for a
huge October festival
 of sharing our arts & crafts. Then opening that up to any blogger who might want to have tables to
display our creative goodies for sale.
We will "try" to have the event in one of the gorgeous
 mansions in Braselton area."
(Braselton is easily convienently located right off Interstate 85.)

What do you think?

Would the first Thursday work okay for the
Georgia Bloggers meeting in April?
or
Would Saturday the first weekend of April be better for you?

Let's vote!!!

(We KNOW some of you will have jobs to go to but maybe you might be able to arrange a day off with relaxation,
new friends, and inspiration galore.)
We want to make it so that the next time
everyone will be excited about a fall festival event.
I want to meet every single one of the Georgia Bloggers and/or anyone else who might be able to come to meet all of the sweet Georgia peaches.
Please pass around the word and let me know what
everyone would like to do.
"Yvette, it was such a sweet pleasure to meet you!!
I am looking forward to many many more lunches
 and chats together.  Sweet Blessings to you!"
Thank you for your ideas and comments.

Our appreciation of our followers giveaways!

Have you ever had someone steal your idea?
The other night I was thinking about all of the old, new and newer followers that I have gained since the Magic Carpet Ride event.
My
"original" idea
was to have a
giveaway for just my followers....dahhh....
So I started going to each blog that had signed up to follow my blog.  I spent numerous hours enjoying each one.
I thought, "Hmmmm, I will just draw a name and
send them a surprise for following my posts".
(Have you ever heard the saying that
"there is nothing new"???)
Wellllll,

Karen Valentine
(don't ya' love her name?)
had already set up and posted the same idea!!!...lol
I am just kidding, Karen.
Here are a few words that
she took right out of
MY mouth
and she expressed it better than I ever could have.

"Feelings of joy, gratitude and awe.... Feelings of fear and worry. I felt them all and they all make me a better blogger, a better artist, and a better person. I can't express properly in words how wonderful this last year has been.

I have made some wonderful new friends and am in the process of making many more. Some of you leave comments and some of you don't, and that's okay because I know you are there anyway. I am grateful to you all for your friendship and encouragement. And so... to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart I am offering this humble giveaway to everyone who follows my blog."

These are Karen's words
from her post!
Please go over and enter her giveaway by
signing up to follow her blog...
(I found Karen while I was wondering around
OWOH hosted by Lisa so I, of course,
added her blog to my blogroll and signed in as a follower. )
Her blog is absolutely delicious to the creative spirited!!!!

Then Linda K. at
Robins Egg Blues

Thought of the very same thing!!!
Look at what she is giving in appreciation!

~~~~Now for MY "original" idea! ~~~
Yes!!!
I AM having a giveaway for my followers too!!!
(So IF you are not already following my blog,
sign in,
leave a comment)
I will draw a name from the list on
March 1st!!!
It is a surprise!!
 I won't show you what I have made just for the lucky winner until I have drawn the name!!!
Yes, It is a piece of jewelry.
I made just for that special gal who loves my jewelry.
I can not express into words how much pleasure my blogging buddies have given me.  You always encourage, love and support my creating heart.  You know how to
"get to me"
through your kind words.
I haven't been able to come up with the correct words but here goes a small attempt at expressing my heart.
This is for the wonderful friends I have made
and been with me from the very beginning.
This is for the newbies to my blog.....
"You never know who is on the other end of this computer program called blogging....
I am one of those people.  I am a woman, a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and just plain ole' me.  Yes, I can create but one can have a truck load of beautiful things but if no one sees or appreciates what you do
it is just STUFF....
(My family is very supportive!!
 I appreciate them for their love of my artwork
 but they can only handle so much of the
"Kyser Collection")
 I want to tell
YOU,
my blogging friends,
how humbling it is for a total stranger to take their time to leave a comment of encouragement and kindnesses.
I have been encouraged by scriptures and quotes.
I have prayed for numerous needs when you ask.
I have laughed until I have cried at some of your posts.
I have smiled at your sweet family pictures,
I have actually cried over a broken heart,
loss of a loved one, or the serious illnesses,
and I have heard your pain when you are hurt.
What I am trying to say is,
I care and
I appreciate each and every single one of the souls
that pass my way through blogging.
YOU
have made a difference!
YOU
have added value to that
truck load of stuff!
YOU
have turned it into treasures!
Because you are you and you care."
I humbly thank you from the bottom of my heart for
 touching
my life in such a positive way!!
Sharon
(please remember to stop by
Karen's and Linda K's
and tell them I said "Hi!")
Going Going Gone! Jacque #24 Is the winner of my beaded bracelet
Jacque
was number 24 on the number generator!
(I KNOW I am a little early but circimstances here made it necessary.)
Over 510 wonderful bloggers left a comment
on my original post
 "The One World One Heart"
giveaway and
84 others left a comment on my beaded hearts which I decided to include in the drawing!
I was overwhelmed/thrilled by the response!
(My Momma always taught me to return a note
so I went by to see each and everyone who left a comment!)
Plus I went by Lisa's
each day until I was able to look at each and everyone of the
1,088 links with 40 Countries represented!!!
I met some wonderful people,
added numerous blogs to my blog roll,
became a follower of so many that I lost count,
last but not the least,
I had so much fun!!!
Thank you so much, Lisa!!!
What a pleasure to meet so many people from around the world.  There were so many lovely blogs but I promise I did not leave a comment (just to get something) I left an honest comment of
appreciation and admiration of each blog.
I find it hard to put into words but I was so humbled by the huge response for my beaded bracelet that I decided to add
a couple "runner ups" for my jewelry.
Marcie of The Rustic Victorian's
name was the second to be drawn!
And
Kathy of Vintage Catnip
are both receiving a piece of my jewelry!
(I wish I had enough to send something to each of you.
 Reality is, I would go broke just paying for the postage.)
Speaking of Reality!
Let's go back to reality!
 After almost 600 comments it will be hard to go back to
five to seventeen comments but what a joyful time had by all on
The Magic Carpet Ride!!
I enjoyed the process and will do it again next year if Lisa is up to it!
I have nothing but high praise for such an adventure.
Again, I thank you, Lisa, for her generous spirit and for each one who came by to take a look and left a note.
  I hope you will come back again soon...
Blessings to all,
Sharon
