One World One Heart Giveaways, WE APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS MOST OF ALL!!

This is a very very hard post to write.
But I believe in the power of prayer!  We NEED, WANT and COVET your prayers.  Tonight my precious son, Shawn (37)called to say he has testecular cancer that needs immediate attention.  Via testing his whole body then directly into surgery on February 15th.  I am scared and I need Gods' peace about this whole thing.  I must be strong for him and his beautiful family.  Please please put Shawn on your prayer list.  (My brother is dieing of the same cancer and my father passed away from prostrate cancer a few years ago so the concern is unimaginable.)
Second: I have a daughter that has slowly been starving to death.  She has NO auto immune system left. She is not doing this on purpose and it is not anorexia.  It has attacked her lower and upper colon.  She was wearing size 24 and is down to a size 4-6 now.  It is robbing her of the ability to fight all infections plus making her weak and extremely tired.
See that sweet little girl on the far right well she turned 15 in Nov and has run away twice and found, plus she failed most all of her freshman grades.  Her name is Katiebug, (to her Nana), and she needs our prayers too.  So as you can see my heart is breaking for all of my babies.  Please please please pray for us.  There is just so much one can bare without the Lords' help.

Here is Melissa after loosing 178 pounds.
I was going to post something wonderful about the One World One Heart giveaway.  I HONESTLY wanted to But my heart is just too heavy right now.
(I HAVE FELT YOUR PRAYERS, GOOD WISHES, AND COMPASSION WHICH HUMBLES MY  SOUL.  THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO KIND AND LEAVING SUCH SWEET COMMENTS.  MY SON WILL HAVE SURGERY FEB 15TH AND I AM SENDING MELISSA UP TO BE WITH HIM IN MY PLACE.  THANK YOU SO MUCH TO LISA FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE FROM AROUND THE WORLD TO CARE ABOUT US!!!)
So this is what I will be sending to you if you are drawn through the random number system.  It is a lovely piece made of pearls and Swarvoski crystals.  Just leave a note and I will get it out as soon as the drawing is over.

Thank you from: Sharon, Shawn, Melissa, Katiebug and my wonderful daughter in love, Tammy and Ethyn!  I love you ALL so very much,
Mom, Nana and Friend

One World One Heart it's about all the good and joyous things. This is true. But it also can be about all the sad and grievous that may be in our hearts aswell. So if we can leave posts to help lift your spirits I think that is the least we can do. We look forward to the promise in the scriptures and we are assured that it is impossible for God to lie when he says in Rev 21:4&5:
4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
5 And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also, he says: “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”
Until he does we can support one another with our words of comfort and prayers. I hope you can sense mine are being said in your behalf.

I will be keeping Shawn, Melissa and you all in my prayers. As unfathomably hard as this must be I am confident that the Lord has a plan for you and them that is perfect even when I cannot hope to comprehend what it is.

Dearest Sharon, My heart is so heavy for you. I have not dealt with any cancer in my life, but i have the issues with the kids like the 15 yo , only worse than just the failing and running away... none of my kids are speaking to each other on and off and only one of them is speaking with hubby and I...too much to go into, and you do not need to hear all the dirty details. Just know I am soooo right there with you!

I am no longer Christian, But I certainly will pray and keep a candle lit for your family as well as direct healing, positive, and peaceful energy your way!! Funny thing...I am still down below 100 on the list but I decided to go to the end and start picking out blogs that seemed to call out to me, and here you are!(another piece of Fate)

much love and gentle hugs,

Sharon. I am so sorry.

Okay, yes, I know this is easier read than done, but it's one of my favorites, and such a blessing:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Dear Sharon, I knew God had led me to participate in the One World One Heart blog hop for a reason. All of my blogging is Spirit-led and I rarely participate in such big blog parties unless He leads. I am not here for the giveaways or even to gain traffic on my page. He leads I follow.

My dear friend suggested I visit your page because she knows that prayer is one of my passions and callings. To top it off, God has given me a profound compassion for the heart of a mother and I pray He sends me moms who needs prayers for their sweet babies of all ages.

I am the mother of a 21 y/o son and a 17 y/o daughter. When I tell you I am praying, I am praying. Please do not hesitate to stay in touch. I am praying for your sweet babies. My heart grieves for you because of He who lives in me. I don't even know you but He does. He sees each and every tear and knows you are tired and burdened. Do not look to tomorrow for today has enough burden. He will carry your tomorrows.

Feel free to visit any time and you may also email privately at homeiswhereoneheartis@yahoo.com .

God is in your midst. He has gone ahead of you. He loves your children more than you love them. Think about that and let it sink deep in your heart.

Love and blessings. Praying.

When I was down because of family situations, my father said to me, "Honey, you know, no matter how bad you have it-there is always someone out there who suffers more. My reply was-"Dad, it was me they were talking about when they wrote that helpful quote." I understand only too well what you are going through. My oldest daughter has cancer, one of my son's is a scziphrenic and one of my granddaughters went through the same thing as yours. (and there is much more) I have been and always will be "Nina" to them and I'll always be there for them. I know by your writing that you are a very strong woman. You will make it!

I'd be honored to receive anything you make or give, especially at this time when your heart is full.

Sharon, thse are such hard times right now even under normal circumstances. So I will deffinetely be praying for you. My ucle had prostate cancer and he survived. It was frightenig for him though as his dad died from it too. He's clar now though, for now anyways. We are all grateful. I also had severe depression from age 11 to 41 I was suicidal and I'm not anymore. God does answer prayers but sometimes not fast enough in our opinoins. Why He allows soe to suffer and others to even die is incomprehenseable to us in this form.
Is your daughter sick from her own doing or is she habing a rare illness? I like to pray specifically. So am I praying she be cured of anerexia or does she have an auto immune issue that's making her so thin? That wasn' clear to me. I will pray either way she gets healed and stops running away. I pray that she begins to pray and if she's already praying that she pray harder and that her prayers if they are Gods' will for her life are heard. Because of what I have been through I am a better person but it was oh so hard to get through. I am far from perfect or eve normal but I am so much better. God does answer prayers. I pray for your peace of mind Sharon, that you know God is hearing you and watching over you and your family. let the whole world pray...AMEN. Love, Sanna

Dear Sharon,
I'm sorry to hear you are worrying so much, and will be praying for you and your family. May God's will happen and may you find courage and strength to accept it and see the best in what is happening.

I know it's not easy to accept that sometimes God's will IS that people are sick and tired, and die, sometimes too soon in our minds. My father is dying slowly of prostate cancer, that has spread into his skeleton, so it's very painful for him. I wish I could take away his pain. I will be very sad the day we finally loose him, but also glad because he won't be in pain anymore.
I have FM, which causes me to suffer pain like having needles stuck in the joints of my hands and feet. There are days I don't walk, and days I don't craft. Nevertheless I believe this too is the best and God's will, and I hope I learn what I am supposed to learn from this. Perhaps it's humility and kindness towards the rest of the world, perhaps I need to learn to count on others, as I have been self-sufficient. Only God knows what I need to learn, and what you need to learn, and guessing will only cause resentment and anger, because we usually guess wrong.

Remember Psalm 46. Fear not, Sharon. Try not think about the day that comes when someone you love is no longer with you, but live this day, when they still are around, and make it the best day of your lives. I hope you will find hope and manage to rewrite this blog entry again, and focus on the good things in your life. Count your blessings, because they are many (one of them being the ability to create beautiful things), and be comforted. Light a candle, don't curse the darkness. Having a personal experience on suffering gives you a wonderful opportunity to have compassion towards the rest of the suffering world.
May God and angels walk with you and turn your face into light.

I hope I haven't offended or hurt you with my words, and I hope you can forgive me if I have, believing that I say what I say with all the best intentions and in all sympathy. If I have said something that causes you pain, delete this comment.

Hugs,
Ket

i am a mother too so my heart aches for you. i have written your prayer requests down and you can be assured of my prayers. i wonder if you have considered alternative treatments and healing verses for your children. my mom was diagnosed with cancer in her tongue more than a year ago and since traditional medicine had little to offer (she would be disfigured and have very poor quality of life), we opted to go the alternative way plus she recites healing verses from the bible on schedule, just like medicine. she is doing very well and living a normal life. i pray that your trial will turn into a testimony of God's goodness!

Oh my, I will definitely pray for all your family. I am so sorry that so much has been laid on your shoulders all at once. Keep hope and faith in your heart - God does work miracles - my DH has recovered from melanoma, prostate and bladder cancer and I am also a melanoma survivor. God does work in mysterious ways and sometimes they are meant to strengthen our faith or be faithful witnesses to others. I certainly pray that God will grant you and your family tender mercies and miraculous healing. Stay in His word and He will guide you.
