Easter is just around the corner and with our weather up in the 70's I am in the mood for spring. I thought maybe you might like some Easter reminders. I will be posting some Victorian Postcards for you to enjoy. These are all courtesy of the internet! Last year I made an 8x10" sheet of five or six crosses together then printed them off, cut them out and gave them out to friends for bookmarks.
This lovely lady reminds me of my sister and my Momma. Momma loved collecting bunnies and Mary loves Victorian ladies.
Now for my latest creation:
I wish my camera took better pictures! I took these pictures of the Butterflies Galore bracelet that I just finished but they do not come close to what a pretty color pattern this bracelet has.
The reason it is called "Butterflies" is the flower petals look just like a butterflies wings. The original pattern was the "butterflies" went all the way around but it is so much prettier with the peyote band. The green band makes the flower pop. (By the way the flower petals are interchangeable to make the flower more of the lavenders, so you have two bracelets into one piece). Then I added the leaves to tie it all together. The ravoli in the center is in a deep purple, then the flower has a variegated deep purple up to a soft mauve. I used a softer pink Swarvoski crystal for the center.
