Look what was peeking at me this morning! How wonderful to have flowers blooming when it is actually 19 degrees outside! The fireplace is roaring again tonight and we are almost out of wood already. But it looks like we only have two more days of this freeze and it will be 63 on Sunday. No wonder we all have colds in Georgia. Aren't these flowers a beautiful creation of God! What a blessing that He gives us such beauty for our pleasure. I am leaving several other colors in the garage to start slowly so that I can enjoy them one at a time.
I had finished this "Free form bracelet" last week end so I wanted to show you how I made this with pinks and greens instead of the purples from last week. I had been doing alot of pattern pieces and they just were not coming together so I decided to switch to something fun and relaxing. I love the colors and the dimensions. I wanted to show you the depth in a side view also. It just looks like spring to me. (Do ya' think I am looking forward to warmer weather or that I have cabin fever?) "One more day closer to spring" I love spring most of all. My daffodils are wilted now because of the freezing winds. But one more day closer!
I have met the nicest lady at the beading get togethers, Her name is Jimmie and she is doing such beautiful work! She just started seriously in Dec. and she is teaching me things already. I am a slow study and she catches on so quickly. It is so fun to get together and compare the things we have created or are working on. It's wonderful to make friends from our hobbies. I wish her alot of luck in setting up her blog that she is working on. I hope to get a blog line so that we can show all of the treasures we are working on. I have been also working on an Russian Spiral that I thought would be difficult and it was one of the easiest things I have made so far. It is turning out so nice and look forward to showing it to you.It had two tubes of squares and some delicas and size 11 beads. When I get farther along I will share it with you. It is 2:30am and I must head for bed. I think I will cook tomorrow. Baking, maybe some cookies, a cake or something special for my sweetheart. Wish me luck, I am out of practice. Happy Beading! And happy spring.
