Dawn, from "The Feathered Nest.blogspot.com" had these lovely antique Post Cards on her blog and said we could use them with her blessing. I fell in love with the roses and I made the header from them. Aren't they absolutely beautiful? I can not tell you what pleasure I get from their beauty. Well, I could not leave well enough alone and I added words to make them into a personalized post card for you. I thought maybe you might want to print them on card stock and send them out to loved ones. (Remember to right click on the picture and then save it into a file.) I have kept the files large so that you can print them in good quality. If you notice, I love flowers but particularly roses. On the one I moved the bee around to set upon the leaf so that there would be room for words. Do you like them? I hope that they are a blessing to you and to the receiver.
There is one for Easter! Gotta' think ahead.....
Please please check out Dawn's blog. She has such beautiful ideas for gifts and I love the way she writes out her thoughts. Oh, yes, she even gave us the back to the postcard!

I also read "Quill Cottage" and there is a lovely devotional on "Laced With Grace" that I read almost every day. Sandy, from "The Quill Cottage" was talking about Psalms 139:10 "EVEN THERE....Your hand will hide me, Your right hand will hold me fast!" The Psalms are always comforting to me but here it said "to me" that no matter where I am, God my Father, WILL be with me, in me and in front of me and HE is in control because I am HIS! Good stuff, don't ya' think?
Jewelry:
I have to show you a necklace that I just finished last night. There was a lady that came into Atlanta Bead Market in May of last year and she had a necklace on a lot like this one. I asked her if I could photograph it and she was so kind to let me do so. I told her I would someday learn enough to make one like it. It is about one year later and I finally got up the nerve to do it from the picture then when Melissa gave me the stone all made up I HAD to do something with it. All I had to do is the necklace part. (It however, took me three days to complete) (I am not a fast beader) What do you think? I am pleased.
One last Post card. This one made me think of my Momma. Her name was, Bonnie. Sunday, Feb. 22nd was her birthday and I thought about her all day long. What a wonderful birthday she must be having! I sure miss the little sweet lady. (I just pray that my children and grand kids will think of me so fondly when I am with my Momma once again.) I have often thought that I am now making the memories that will last for their lifetime! (Kinda' scarey if I get to thinking about it.)
Have a blessed and quality Thursday. Make a difference for the good of someone who passes your way.
