I made this necklace in red and black for my sister last year. I wanted to show you what I made out of my Moms' old watches. Mom had several watches that were some she had collected and did not work but just couldn't part with them. I took out the clock works, added a picture of my Mother and my sis and a few beads and flower inside. It makes a great gift and was very easy. Try it!
I then got busy and made one for each of my nieces and nephews wives. Even if they never wear them at least they will know I was loving them and wanted them to have a part of me with them.
This week I made a Russian spiral necklace out of cubes and will get a picture to you soon. I also completed a "bump" bracelet. I am too tired to night to get the pics on to the site but I will try to get that done tomorrow.
The cold snap is over and we are going from 19 degrees to 65 tomorrow! Praise the Lord! I always have more energy when the sun shines. I am trying to resist going to a National Bead Show at the Gwinnett Center that is this week end. IF I stay home I will not be tempted to buy things that I can live without but the shows have so many ideas that I can use. One part of me says Yes one part of me says Maybe I should stay home. Again, time will tell! Have a blessed Saturday.
